hiroshima, nagasaki, lots of deers, lots of beers

sooo we are finally back from our mini vacation to kyushuu, the island most west of Japan's four main islands. the weather there was still amazing, almost 80 during the day but it was hardly a vacation and more like a giant field trip (i.e. lots of learning, too little sleeping). let's start from the beginning.

in hiroshima, we went to the peace museum and the atomic bomb dome. after witnessing the devastating effects of nuclear war it really makes me depressed to know that many countries still possess/are trying to possess these weapons. but there are people who really try to make a difference but im scared its gonna be too late before anything gets done.



but on another note, we did try hiroshima's famous okonomiyaki...


and then we went to miyajima..


and we played with baby deer

well mindy tried. haha. nexxtt we went to nagasaki.

and we found bugles...

en route to shimabara..


and then i was finally reunited with my family...


but they didnt believe me so we had to work as peasants.


but it was ok cuz hudson paid our debts. freed at last, everyone at matsuyama castle.
